The Cardinals filled one of their two roster vacancies ahead of OTAs with rookie DL Patrick Jenkins
The
Arizona Cardinals entered the week with two roster vacancies. With OTAs (organized team activities) beginning Wednesday, the team announced one move on Tuesday. They announced the signing of defensive lineman Patrick Jenkins. They also announced the release of defensive lineman Ben Stille, a move we already wrote about because
it was on the NFL transaction report . Jenkins is an undrafted rookie. The Cardinals list him at 6-foot-2 and 293 pounds. He played collegiately for TCU in 2020-2021 and then Tulane from 2022-2024. Over his entire college career, he appeared in 58 games with 133 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, 14.0 sacks, two pass breakups, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble. Jenkins was a first-team All-AAC selection in 2023 and 2024 and led Tulane with 4.5 sacks last season. The addition of Jenkins gives the Cardinals seven rookie free agents on their roster. They still have one vacancy remaining on their roster following cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting landing on the non-football injury list, ending his 2025.
