Arkansas basketball junior forward Adou Thiero will enter the 2025 NBA Draft, according to a post on his Instagram page Tuesday afternoon.

Thiero is widely viewed as as a late-first or early-second round draft pick after completing his first and only season with the Razorbacks . He transferred to Arkansas from Kentucky, following John Calipari in his journey to Fayetteville.

"This decision comes after much thought and reflection, and I am incredibly thankful for the experiences I've had throughout my journey," Thiero wrote on Instagram.

"I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the University of Arkansas, Coach (Calipari), staff, GA's, managers, teammates, fans and all of Razorback nation for their unwavering support and belief in me."

Thiero finished the season as Arkansas' leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 15.1 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. He shot 54.5% from the field, relentlessly attacking the basket and scoring in transition. He took 175 trips to the free-throw line, which were 78 more attempts than any other player on the roster.

Thiero did all this while missing eight games with a hyperextended knee. He sustained the injury in a win over Missouri on Feb. 22. He did not return until the Sweet 16 and played five minutes in a season-ending loss to Texas Tech.

The 6-foot-8 forward delivered a heroic performance in John Calipari's return to Rupp Arena on Feb. 1, scoring a team-high 21 points and grabbing eight rebounds in an upset win over Kentucky.

Thiero was one of three former Wildcats to follow Calipari to Arkansas, along with Zvonimir Ivisic and D.J. Wagner. Ivisic announced his intention to re-enter the transfer portal on March 31.
