FAYETTEVILLE — The first game of the baseball series between second-ranked Arkansas and Missouri was postponed Friday due to thunderstorms in the forecast for Northwest Arkansas.

The Razorbacks and the Tigers are now scheduled to play a 9-inning game Saturday at 4 p.m., a doubleheader of 7-inning games Sunday beginning at 1 p.m.

SEC rules state any games that are part of a doubleheader on the final scheduled day of a series must be 7 innings in regulation. The second game of Sunday's doubleheader is scheduled to begin 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

All games in the series will be streamed on SEC Network+.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a high chance for showers and thunderstorms Friday evening and early Saturday. The rain chances diminish Saturday afternoon.

There is a chance of rain and snow showers early Sunday. The high that day is forecast to be 48 degrees with north winds that could gust to 25 mph.

Only tickets purchased to games Saturday and Sunday will be valid for this weekend’s games. Single-game tickets purchased for Friday’s game are eligible to be exchanged through the Razorback Ticket Center.

Arkansas (27-3, 8-1 SEC) enters the fourth weekend of conference play in a 4-way tie for first place. Missouri (11-17, 0-9) is the SEC’s only winless team in league play.
