Police in Attleboro, Massachusetts, are turning to the public to help locate a suspect wanted for a shooting that occurred on Saturday afternoon. Attleboro police responded to the reported shooting on Oakland Avenue around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and located a 58-year-old victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with injuries that are considered non-life threatening. Following an intensive investigation, authorities have identified 33-year-old Jacob Lacourse as the suspected shooter. Lacourse is described as a white male, approximately 40 years old, with a shaved head. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the words "BOSTON", gray sweatpants, and possibly a black or gray backpack. Lacourse has connections in Attleboro, Massachusetts, as well as Pawtucket, Rhode Island and should be considered armed and dangerous. Police are urging anyone who may encounter him to call 911 and not approach him.
