Grab your partner for the chance of a lifetime. "The Amazing Race" is holding an open casting call on Thursday, June 8, in Denver!

Maybe you've been a fan of the show, watching with interest as two-person teams race around the globe in hopes of winning a $1 million prize on CBS's reality show "The Amazing Race." Maybe you've thought to yourself, "I could totally do that." Maybe you even have a partner in mind -- someone with unequaled international street smarts and an impeccable sense of direction. Well, we have excellent news for you: open casting calls for the show's 30th season are underway, and on Thursday, June 8, Coloradans will have a chance. When: Thursday, June 8, 12 p.m. (but you'll want to get there early -- you can start lining up by 9:30 a.m.!) Where: NATIV Hotel, 1612 Wazee Street Denver, CO 80202 [caption id="attachment_16991" align="aligncenter" width="650"]amazing race Contestants on "The Amazing Race" discuss their next move.[/caption] The first 200 teams in line will get the chance to creatively share in 60 seconds as to why they'd be great contestants/competitors on "The Amazing Race." Props and creativity are encouraged! No paperwork is required ahead of time, though it might be helpful to have a printed-out release waiver for each person.
Producers are looking for a diverse group of competitors who are willing to travel to remote locations for a four-week period and compete in difficult challenges. According to CBS:
Competitors will be judged based on having the following traits: strong-willed; outgoing; adventurous; physically and mentally adept; adaptable to new environments; interesting lifestyles, backgrounds and personalities. If selected as a semi-finalist, candidates will be invited for final interviews with Amazing Race producers."
