Joseph Edwards, 24, is facing attempted first degree murder in addition to drug and firearm trafficking charges.

Police say on April 23, 2024 around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of West North Ave. for a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, police found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On Feb. 4, 2025, officers arrested Edwards in a Baltimore County hotel.

He was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility, and he will now face charges.
