Try the best tacos in the DMV area -- Your favorite place could win "Best Taco" and a $500 prize.
As the biggest festival of its kind on the East Coast, you could say the DMV area knows a thing or two about tacos. Entering its third year, the Taco Beer Tequila Festival will showcase some of the finest taquerias in the region. Try from over 20 vendors and 40 different tacos, which you can wash down with cider, beer, wine, and of course, tequila! Vote for your favorite joint and a $500 prize will be awarded to the winning vendor for "Best Taco." Along with live entertainment, treat yourself to one of the festival's newest additions, the Chocolate and Churro Pavilion!

General Admission and VIP alike will receive at least two taco tickets, unlimited alcohol tastings, and access to the live entertainment and Chocolate and Churros Pavilion. VIP ticket-holders will get early access to the festivities, as well as four tequila tickets and exclusive tents and restrooms. If you want to get the party started early, why not give yourself the special treatment?
Know Before You Go:
This is a 21+ only event.
Bring cash and credit/debit cards. There will be no ATMs on the premises.
Any additional tacos can only be purchased with taco tickets, which you can buy more of at the event.
Vegetarian and vegan options will be available among the 40 different taco varieties -- the menu will be announced the day of the event.
Designated drivers can buy their tickets the day of the event, and will be given a special wristband; no alcohol tastings are allowed.
No pets are allowed, with the exception of service dogs; just register them ahead of time and bring proper documentation.
PARKING: Patrons can park in the nearby National Harbor parking lots. Keep in mind the event itself will be physically held at Southpointe, so no parking will be available. Find more about parking here.
