We're pretty lucky to live in a hilly, sledding-friendly state -- as opposed to, say, the flatlands of Texas or Florida. #blessed
So bundle up the kiddos and head to one of these locales for a great sledding experience!
With both a classic hill (arguably the best in the metro area) and a free rail yard with jumps for skiing and snowboarding (courtesy of Winter Park), Ruby Hill is centrally located and perfect for every level of snow sport ability.

This manufactured hill at Central Park in the Stapleton community is perfect for sledding and has been entertaining neighborhood residents for several years!

Located at E. 3rd Ave. and S. Forest Street, Robinson Park is a long-time community favorite!

This one's a fave from my childhood. With sweeping scenic views, this park at Ken Caryl is actually (accurately) named "Sledding Hill Park." The slope is gentle but loooonngg. And in my experience, it tends to get pretty busy!

At the corner of S. Laredo St. and E. Dartmouth, the park outside Meadowood Center makes a great hill for sledding. Bonus: Because the hill is literally right off the street, parents of big kids can sip on warm drinks while watching the activities from the comfort of the car.

We're told that the best sledding conditions at Wallace Park lie at the corner of Wabash and Union! Let the kiddos sled to their hearts' content.
