The 20th Annual Bethesda Arts Festival is coming soon so get your walking shoes ready.
We’re just getting into a good spring, but surely the good weather has us thinking about outdoor activities that lures our artistic interest. So jot this one down on your calendar because in October the streets of Bethesda Row becomes an art collector's dream. It is one of the most sought after events in the mid-Atlantic. The Festival features the works of over 190 artists and crafters from around the country. On display will be drawings, jewelry, paintings, photography, and sculptures. Digital art, glass, ceramics, and wearable art will also be available. Prices of these pieces ranged from $45 to $20,000 during last year’s event so don’t forget your wallet. But feel better knowing that there’s no admission charge for the full day of this creative pleasure. The event is free to the public.
There are live music events during this festival so be prepared for abundant activity. There is also ample parking in the area so everything about this event is so easy. Take advantage of over fifty local restaurants in the community. Diners can get their choice of food ranging from ice cream to crab cakes.
