This season hasn’t been kind to Brandon Nimmo. It doesn’t appear to be getting any easier for him on Sunday in the Bronx. The Mets outfielder is hitting just .229 this season, and he’ll face one of the toughest left-handed pitchers in the game, Max Fried, in Sunday’s Subway Series finale.

Nimmo has hit left-handers slightly better throughout his career, but he’s struggled mightily against Fried. Nimmo has just three hits in 34 career at-bats against Fried (.111).
