PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - The Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 125-112 on Tuesday, as the franchise’s all-time leading scorer, Damian Lillard, returned to the city he spent the first 11 seasons of his career. It was just the second road game in Portland for the superstar, following his blockbuster trade to the Bucks in September 2023. Lillard scored 20 points and dished out six assists, but was bested by a balanced Blazers attack that saw three players score more than 20 points. Deni Avdija led the way with 30, along with nine rebounds, while Deandre Ayton added 21 points and 14 boards. Lillard’s former teammate Anfernee Simons added 25 points and seven assists. Lillard’s teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 39 points. Portland defeated the Bucks 119-116 last January, in Lillard’s first game at the Moda Center as a visiting player. They earned a 105-102 victory over the Bucks in Milwaukee earlier this month. The Blazers (18-29) host the Orlando Magic on Thursday.
