JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WAVE) – A high school counselor in Floyd County, Indiana, has been charged in neighboring Clark County for having an inappropriate relationship with a student.

Brittany Eisner, 34, is charged with two counts of child seduction and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

According to Jeffersonville police, they were notified on September 17, 2024, by the Indiana Department of Child Services about allegations involving an inappropriate relationship between Eisner, a counselor at Floyd Central High School, and a FCHS student who is a juvenile.

After a preliminary investigation, Indiana DCS believed “the relationship was sexual,” and that “Eisner had provided the juvenile with alcohol and vaping products.”

Eisner was arrested October 29. She was taken into custody during her initial court appearance this afternoon. Her bond was set at $100,000 cash.

Jeffersonville police say the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges could be filed in neighboring jurisdictions.
