Snickerdoodles and birthday cake await you on your next fast-food run.
Two of Americas’s favorite fast-food restaurants are introducing new dessert items just in time for the holidays. Wendy’s is celebrating a significant birthday this year, and one of its signature menu items—the Frosty—is celebrating, too. McDonald’s is announcing a holiday version of its McFlurry that’s spicy and sweet. Both of the desserts will only be available for a limited time.
Wendy’s is celebrating 50 years in the restaurant business by remaking its classic frozen dessert over into a birthday cake. The Birthday Cake Frosty combines vanilla with birthday cake flavor, creating a unique celebration treat. You can also get in it sundae form, topped with sprinkles and sugar cookie pieces. In addition to the birthday cake Frosty, Wendy’s will also be giving away free food as part of the anniversary celebration. Simply download the Wendy’s app and scan a 50th birthday cup and see if you’ve won!

In past years, McDonald’s added peppermint mochas and pumpkin pies to the menu for the holidays. This year, the chain is switching things up with the Snickerdoodle McFlurry. Delicious cinnamon cookies are mixed with McDonald’s famous soft serve to create a holiday version of the McFlurry.
The frozen treat is the first seasonal McFlurry to be released in seven years. Unfortunately, however, the Snickerdoodle McFlurry won’t be available in stores until next month. Through November 17, you can try it out before everyone else if you place an order for delivery through Uber Eats.
