Seeds are set for the Class 3A and 2A Northeast Regional tournaments.

West Scranton’s Michael Turi is the lone No. 1 seed in Class 3A from District 2. The Class 2A brackets are all set up the same with the District 2 champion as the No. 2 seed and the District 4 champion as the top seed.

Turi (145 pounds) captured his third district title Saturday, and placed second in the region last season. He also has a regional fourth place and two seventh-place state medals.

Abington Heights’ Brian Heard, the defending regional champion at 172, is the No. 2 seed. He is tied with Evan Craig for the District 2 and Abington Heights wins records with 169 victories.

West Scranton’s Connor Lagier (114), Wallenpaupack’s Gio Lomonaco (121), Abington Heights’ Mason Whitney (127), Delaware Valley’s Brady Colville (139), Wilkes-Barre Area’s Liam Evanko (152), Pittston Area’s Brody Spindler (215) and Crestwood’s Kyle Draina (285) are also No. 2 seeds out of District 2.

The Class 3A tournament is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Liberty High School in Bethlehem.

District 2 champions Honesdale’s Nathan Schuman (107), Landen Estus (145), Mason Avery (172) and Duke Martin (189); Dallas’ Sidney O’Donnell (127) and Hunter Pitcavage (215); Mid Valley’s Matthew Almedina (139) and Sam Almedina (160); Hanover Area’s C.J. Caines (114); Blue Ridge’s Brice Woodruff (121); Scranton Prep’s Jake Barrett (139); Valley View’s Richie Leslie (152); and Wyoming Area’s Nate Obrzut (285) are the No. 2 seeds in Class 2A.

The Class 2A tournament is scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Williamsport High School.
