the Marquette men's basketball team has a big week to polish its NCAA Tournament profile. The Golden Eagles (22-7, 13-5 Big East) have opportunities to notch Quad 1 victories in their final two regular-season games. Feb. 25 vs. Providence: The Golden Eagles put up a program-high 41 three-pointers, making 17,
in an 82-52 rout of the Friars. Ben Gold had a career-best 17 points.
March 1 at Georgetown: MU star guard Kam Jones set a career high with 13 assists and also scored in double figures for the 45th straight game
in a 76-61 win in Washington. Coming up for the Golden Eagles
March 5 at Connecticut: MU has never won at UConn in head coach Shaka Smart's four seasons at MU. The Huskies also
won the first matchup this season at Fiserv Forum. March 8 vs. St. John's: The Red Storm, in head coach Rick Pitino's second season, wrapped up the Big East regular-season title last week, so it will be interesting to see if the team rests players in this one.
