Monday afternoon, a US Army Blackhawk helicopter made what officials are calling a "hard landing" at the Breton Bay Golf and Country Club in Leonardtown, Maryland.

The Blackhawk helicopter crash occurred at approximately 1:22 p.m. local time. The local Fox affiliate is reporting that two people on board were injured and that one soldier unfortunately died in the crash. We will post more when we get official statements from the Pentagon.
