Not since the St. Louis Cardinals from 2013-15 has a team won three consecutive National League Central Division titles.

The Milwaukee Brewers , winners of the 2023 and 2024 crowns, will begin their pursuit of their third in the coming days as they officially open spring training at their American Family Fields of Phoenix complex in Phoenix.

Reigning NL manager of the year Pat Murphy figures to have his hands full over the next six weeks as he tries to identify the successor to Willy Adames at shortstop , puts together his pitching staff with a new full-time closer after the trade of Devin Williams and awaits the healthy return of Christian Yelich and Brandon Woodruff .

The rest of the Central Division? There are some new big names on board, including outfielder Kyle Tucker with the Chicago Cubs and Terry Francona taking over for a revamped Cincinnati Reds squad, but no team appears to have greatly separated itself with a flurry of difference-making personnel moves.

So, if the Brewers remain healthy and get big contributions from a few unexpected sources, who knows? A three-peat may end up being in the cards.
