Bridgestone Winter Driving School is here for all of the Colorado Transplants who need AWD.
Out of Steamboat Springs, Colorado Bridgestone Winter Driving School awaits all worrisome winter drivers. When a spring snowstorm hits, many people act like they totally forgot what it was like 3 weeks ago when we just had snow. Unfortunately, many people have been stuck in traffic due to this debilitating weather. Perhaps some people may not be accustomed to this weather (*ahem* all Colorado transplants) and need a friendly reminder that you do not need to go 2 miles an hour.

Colorado Bridgestone Winter Driving School prepares anyone and everyone for the harsh conditions that winter can bring. The first part of the school is an in-classroom lecture with power points giving you a debrief about what you are going to do. The next section of the course is when you’re put to the test. Guided by an instructor, you will be operating a vehicle (gasp) on a specific course set up by the school.
The instructor will teach you how to properly drive on snow packed conditions, icy conditions, and also uphill stretches ensuring you will be safe on the road the next time it snows. Don’t get me wrong, all people should be cautious driving in the snow, but this provides extra practice so you know exactly what to do and when you don’t have to go 4 miles an hour.
For anyone uncomfortable in the snow (transplants or not) this is a great idea. Anyway we can make the morning commute a little safer and easier is always a positive.
Here are a few winter driving tips we could ALL use:
-If it appears to be too icy or conditions are bad, they are as bad as they seem.
-If you’re sliding, steer in the direction you want the car to go.
-Always own an ice scraper.
