Although the team missed the playoffs last year, the Broncos managed to move up two spots in Forbes' 2017 Most Valuable Sports Team list. The NFL team ranked at No. 24 out of 51.

The Denver Broncos were the only team from Colorado to make Forbes' 2017 Most Valuable Sports Team list, which was released on Wednesday, July 12. The NFL team ranked at No. 24, moving up two spots from the previous year. And although the team may have missed the playoffs last season, they are worth $2.4 billion, a huge increase of 24 percent from 2016. Forbes' list is based on NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB, Formula One, soccer and NASCAR teams. However, no NHL, Formula One, or NASCAR teams made it onto this year's list. There's no sports league that is as profitable as the NFL, and the Dallas Cowboys proved that by taking the lead for the second year in a row at $4.2 billion. most valuable There were a few ties this year, most notably between the New Orleans Saints (NFL) and the Los Angeles Angels (MLB), who both sat at the No. 50 spot with $1.75 billion. Because of the ties throughout, there were 51 teams this year. Please keep in mind that due to the ties, there will be certain numbers (ranks) excluded. For example, the Los Angeles Lakers and the San Francisco 49ers tied for the No. 9 spot. If you look closely, there is no No. 10; it simply jumps to No. 11. This happens for ties throughout. While we won't be sharing the entirety of the list (because, let's be real, who has time to read every single team?), you can view the full list here.
