Is your 5th 6th or 7th grader interested in math and sciences? BSCS will be hosting a 12-week youth STEM program to facilitate passion in science!
From March 2 - May 25 the Biological Science Curriculum Study (BSCS) will host ‘Birds in Your School Yard,’ an after-school STEM program for 5th, 6th and 7th graders. Through games, projects and interactive activities your youngster will learn all about Colorado’s birds. By investigating environmental changes students can see how this impacts birds behavior, and contribute to science and conservation efforts by documenting their discovery. This hands-on STEM program for young students will help push along the passion young ones have for sciences and study. Not only that, but they will learn how to analyze, document, and report their findings in a fun and hands on manner.
