You've seen them in commercials, of course, but now you'll get a chance to see the famous Budweiser Clydesdales in person.

As part of their nationwide tour, some of the iconic Clydesdales symbolizing the Budweiser beer brand will be hitched in Fort Collins from May 19 through June 4 at the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, 2351 Busch Drive. They'll be on display in the stables from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sundays. Special photo ops with a Clydesdale will be possible May 21-June 4, from 1 to 3 p.m. (Please note: the Clydesdales will not be available on May 28 or June 1, after 4 p.m., due to private events.)
Impress your friends and family with some Budweiser Clydesdale trivia when you go:
  • The horses weigh between 1,800 and 2,300 pounds and stand at least 6' tall.
  • Each one eats 50 to 60 lbs. of hay and drinks 30 gallons of water per day.
  • They are capable of pulling a one-ton load at 5 MPH.
  • The horses first appeared as a symbol for Anheuser-Busch in 1933.
