If jet engines, ticket counters and hustling people didn't fill Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport with sound, there will be one more echo in the mix for in June.

Visit Annapolis and Anne Arundel County, the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County, the Annapolis Musicians Fund for Musicians and Rams Head On Stage are teaming up to present "The Songwriter's Series – Live at BWI."

"The Songwriter's Series will bring live music to the airport as part of Anne Arundel Arts Month supporting BWI's mission to enhance the traveler experience and celebrate Maryland and Anne Arundel County's vibrant music scene," Visit Annapolis and Anne Arundel County said in a statement.

Visit Annapolis and Anne Arundel County also said the initiative supports BWI-Marshall's commitment to creating a welcoming environment by reducing travel-related stress through cultural engagement.

The live music performances will take place Tuesdays-Fridays from 10 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. in Terminal A.
