The Baltimore Orioles have a starting pitching problem, and after allowing former Cy Young winner Corbyn Burns to walk a free agency, they're still looking for answers.

Kate Povich and Dean Kramer each have an ERA over 6.

Veteran Charlie Morton has an ERA over 10.

And while Tomoyuki Segano is pitched fine in ERA in the mid 3s, both Zach Eflin and Grayson Rodriguez are both on the injured list already, leaving Baltimore searching for answers.

But this isn't a new issue for the Baltimore Orioles.

For the last several seasons, they've looked for answers at the top of their rotation, and outside of their one year with Corbin Burns, they haven't really found one.

And now having a starter ERA that ranks 30th in all of Major League Baseball, they've expedited their need for starting pitching, and now they might have to pay a premium when we get to the deadline to acquire starting pitching because acquiring an ace-like arm at the deadline is expensive.

Especially when everybody knows your needs.

The Orioles' roster is constructed of several young pre-arbitration players, meaning that they have the resources and payroll flexibility to go after the arm they need in their rotation.

But with the ALE starting to figure things out with the Yankees, Blue Jays, Red Sox, and even Tampa Bay Rays, the Orioles are gonna have to figure their rotation issues out quickly, or they're gonna see this division get away from them.
