Can the New York Knicks guard the Boston Celtics in their 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals second round series the Knicks just punched their ticket to after beating the Detroit Pistons in six games in the first round? During the league's 2024-25 regular season schedule slate of games, the Knicks lost to the Celtics in all four meetings between the two Atlantic Division rivals, with only one of the four tilts even being a close affair.

And given New York does not have the sort of players they would need to replicate what we just saw from the Orlando Magic in the first round against Boston (and it would take a major departure from head coach Tom Thibodeau, while we are at it), we have our doubts.
