25-year-old Robert Griffin was arrested on Sunday following reports of a person prowling homes and garages in the Northwest area of the city, and also a report of a brief vehicle pursuit.

Around 6:40 a.m. the Joint Communication Dispatchers started to receive multiple calls for reports that homes and garages were being entered into by an unknown person.

When police arrived on scene they started to track, but did not find the person. Officers then received a report from the same area where a vehicle was stolen from a garage.

The vehicle was then spotted about 3 hours later and was recovered at the 2700 block of Bever Ave SE.

Griffin was identified as the driver and was then taken into custody.
