Now in its fifth year, the Nightmare Festival has become the biggest and best Halloween electronic music dance party in Maryland.
Camp Ramblewood in Darlington is set to host the annual Nightmare Festival. The Halloween weekend party began five years ago as an underground, indoor rave that soon became the festival it is today. Nightmare Festival and other similar electronic music dance (EDM) parties have become very popular, drawing thousands of guests each year. With all the decorative activities planned, Nightmare Festival promises to be anything but boring. Even though the vibe may be friendly and the atmosphere fun, The Nightmare Festival is by no means a kid-friendly event. Festival goers must be 18 and older. When: October 27-28 Where: Camp Ramblewood | 2564 Silver Road, Darlington Weekend passes are $135 and one-day passes are $65. VIP and other ticket options are also available. There is a $30 parking fee not included in the ticket price. This year cabin rentals have already sold out. For tickets, directions and more info, visit Nightmare Festival’s website.

Get ready for costume contests, live painting sessions, pumpkin carvings and a great lineup of musical artists! The venue’s warehouse will be decorated based on a “Gateway to Hell” theme, while the Art Gallery and Chillout Lounge will provide a comfortable space for guests to catch their breath and relax.
The Freak Show stage area will host dance parties as DJs spin a wide variety of different genres. Festival goers can expect to hear lots of EDM, techno, dubstep, electro and more. Some of the bigger names in the lineup include the internationally known U.K. dubstep artist CASPA and Florida based Dubstep artist Midnight Tyrannosaurus.
Guest can enjoy "The Night Circus," a mini circus with props that are a little spooky and scary as magicians and other performers provide entertainment during the evening hours.
