KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Prosecutors dropped charges against one of two teenagers accused in the death of Irish Chef Shaun Brady .

A spokesperson for Jackson County Circuit Court confirmed charges against L.M. were dropped and there are no pending hearings in his case.

A second teenager identified as K.H. remains charged in Brady’s homicide. K.H. is scheduled to learn if he will be tried as an adult in the case later this month.

Brady was gunned down in the parking lot of his Brookside Brady’s KC restaurant , also referred to as Brady & Fox, around 5:15 p.m. in September. Police said a preliminary investigation confirmed Brady was taking out the trash when he saw multiple people by a vehicle. Shortly after interacting with the group, he was shot.

The arrests of the juvenile suspects were made less than an hour after the shooting, according to the department.

Officers also recovered the vehicle the teenagers were accused of using in the crime. Officers found the car in Midtown Kansas City, near the location where officers arrested the teenagers.
