The Cheyenne Animal Shelter is excited to announce its “Clear the Kennels” adoption promotion, a special initiative to help adult dogs find loving homes. Now through November 17, adoption fees for all adult dogs (aged 1 year and older) are completely waived, creating an ideal opportunity for members of the community to bring home a loyal and loving companion.

“Our shelter is filled with incredible dogs just waiting for a chance at a forever home,” said Niki Harrison, Director of Development at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter. “By waiving the adoption fees, we’re hoping to reduce barriers and make it easier for families to find their perfect match.”

The shelter currently cares for a wide variety of adult dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Each dog is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, ensuring they are healthy and ready to go home. Adopting an adult dog offers many benefits, including established personalities and, often, basic training—making the transition to a new home smoother.
