The Cheyenne Animal Shelter is currently in the yellow zone and rapidly approaching the red zone for capacity. This situation creates space constraints, as intake numbers are rising to levels higher than any other time this year.

Kennels are full, and there is a growing list of over 75 pets waiting for owner surrender, with appointment scheduling extending to mid-December.

Current population numbers highlight an increased need for assistance and limited space for additional stray or abandoned pets in the coming weeks.

The Cheyenne Animal Shelter is excited to announce our ‘Adopt a Boo’ event, running from October 31st to November 3rd!

This is the perfect opportunity to bring a loving companion into your home.

During this special event, you can pay an adoption fee of your choosing for your new pet!

Each adoption includes vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and a microchip.
