CHICAGO - A Chicago fugitive who escaped electronic monitoring nearly three years ago remains on the run, and authorities are asking for the public’s help to find him.

Dongliang Wang, 31, was placed on EM in October 2020 after being charged with kidnapping while armed with a firearm, armed robbery and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, according to the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

He is accused of forcing a person into a vehicle at gunpoint and taking them to his home in the 2000 block of West 35th Street. Further details on the incident haven't been released.

In June 2022, Wang left his residence while still on EM and never returned, authorities said.

Wang was last seen in the 3400 block of South Paulina Street in Chicago, according to the sheriff’s office.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged not to engage with him but to contact sheriff’s police at 708-865-4700.
