Last month, the Denver Broncos were interested in former Valor Christian star and Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey, and were hoping to draft him before the second round. It's been a long time coming, and last night at the first round of the draft, McCaffrey took that next step in his professional career. The Carolina Panthers beat the Broncos to the punch and drafted McCaffrey as a No. 8 pick.
