WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - District 5 City Councilor Tom Taylor has released a statement addressing the state of Wichita Falls neighborhoods. In the statement, Taylor says that the incoming renovations to the City of Wichita Falls will bring significant opportunities to the communities inside the city, posing the town to be a “go-to destination”. With the changes, Taylor says the current issues with the city need to be addressed so that groups like the elderly and children can enjoy the city as well. Councilor Taylor shared that efforts by other City Councilors, such as Robert Brooks' trash cleanups, have been held to bring the community together to fix the neighborhoods around town. Taylor poised in his statement that it will take a ‘resolute and focused community’ to take action.
