In addition to the cycling four-stage race, there will be scheduled events for friends and family.
Colorado Classic announced that it will not just be a world-class cycling event this year. In its third year, the Colorado Classic will be a combination of a cycling race for cyclists and a Bike and Lifestyle Expo for all fans, family, and friends.
The Colorado Classic Bike and Lifestyle Expo, which will be held in the same cities as the race, Steamboat Springs, Avon, Golden, and Denver, will feature merchandise, giveaways, and food and beverage vendors. All activities will be related to cycling, fitness, and health.
Additionally, this year's cross-state race will include the Golden Women's Community Ride on Friday, August 23. The ride, which welcomes the public to participate, will begin under the Arch and head towards Lion's Park Ballfields. There will be live music and a free screening of Mary Poppins Returns at the park after 7 p.m.
On Saturday, August 24, there will be The Colorado Classic 5K which sets off at 9 a.m. right next to the Colorado Classic start line at 12th and Washington.
The race's official website released the schedules for each day and events:

The Colorado Classic is a four-stage cycling competition. When it was first organized in 2017, it was both a men's and women's cycling race. However, the men's race was discontinued in 2018. This year, the event continues as a women-only event. Additional to these major changes, the women's price increased from $20,000 to $75,000, which is $5,000 more than the original men's prize.
For those who can't attend all four days of the race, the Colorado Classic will provide start-to-finish live streaming of the event. The live coverage will be provided by Bicycle Colorado through their website. For more information on the live stream, click here.
