If you need to make a trip to the DMV, don’t plan on making your trip on Feb. 17! Colorado driver’s license offices will be closed at 3 p.m. for a technology update.

Last Tuesday, the Department of Revenue announced the license offices will be closed this coming weekend. The department stated the upgrade will shut down driver-based online services from Jan. 17-20. This closure will shut down driver’s license and ID card renewal, address changes and emergency contact information. Though the license offices will be closed, this does not affect county title and registration offices. You will be able to schedule appointments, and motor vehicle renewal will still be available during the license office closure.
