Local nursery wants to help Coloradans in need with a free Christmas tree. 

If you or anyone you know is in need of a Christmas tree, Echter’s Nursery & Garden Center in Arvada is here to spread the holiday cheer. With many lots sold out, and some families in the metro area unable to afford a tree this year, the nursey is giving away everything needed to set up and enjoy the festivities.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, Echter’s Nursery will give away trees, tree stands, ornaments, and holiday decorations as long as supplies last, or until 6 p.m. If there are any left, they will host another giveaway on Christmas Eve.

The nursery has hosted tree giveaways in the past, and also helped out the community by participating in this year’s CNGA Bags of Blessings drive and donating to local shelters. 

They have been working for months to gather enough supplies to host the giveaway and have gotten a lot of support from customers, as well as the community. Other tree lots like Jensen’s Flower and Garden Center in Lakewood donated extra trees from their lots, and customers were generous in donating decorations and other supplies.

Please share this information with anyone you know who is in need this year. A simple thing like a Christmas tree can make all the difference in keeping the holiday spirit going. In this year, with so much going on in the world, kindness like this is especially important.
