There's nothing better than the joy of an ice cream truck in the summertime. Now your dogs can get in on the action, too!
Locally-owned Furry Friends, Inc., has opened Colorado Springs' first doggie ice cream truck. Known for its pet food delivery, healthy food and treats, and pampering grooming spa for dogs, Furry Friends has expanded its services by designing a truck that will serve up delicious bacon-flavored ice cream and homemade "pupcakes" to furry friends all over the city. Did someone say bacon?!

You and Rover will find the truck at local farmers markets (in Falcon on Fridays from 2-7 p.m., or Monument on Saturdays from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.) and at various special events throughout the summer. The truck will appear at the Champions at Norwood on Dublin's puppy ice cream social on Tuesday, June 13, from 4-6 p.m., and at Banning Lewis Ranch on Thursday, June 15, from 2-7 p.m.
