You can make a free reservation online.

The Manitou Incline in Colorado Springs is now open for the summer—and we can't wait! However, if you're planning a trek to the Springs to tackle the Incline, just know you have to have a reservation first.

Reservations for the Manitou Incline can be made online for free, up to one month in advance. The Manitou Incline is open for its summer hours; 6 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

You must show proof of your reservation (and parking) before hiking.

According to the City of Colorado Springs, this is how reservations will be broken down:

  • Up to 65 people can reserve a spot between 6–9 a.m.
  • 45 people between 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
  • 25 people between 3:30–6:30 p.m.

In addition, parking is available at Hiwatha Gardens for $1/hour, with a free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes from 6 a.m.–6 p.m. You can also make a reservation and pay to park at the Iron Springs Chateau.

Parking is available at Hiawatha Gardens (10 Old Mans Trail, Manitou Springs) for $1 per hour, or you can make a reservation and pay to park at the Iron Springs Chateau.

Initially, the reservation system started as a temporary program to help minimize the crowds during the pandemic.
