Colorado's weather is wild, and the drastic change in topography from one side of the state to the other is one of the main reasons why. We are also situated in an area of the country where influences from the Pacific Ocean, the Central Plains, the Gulf of Mexico and, of course, the Rocky Mountains all have an impact.
