COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police are asking for help identifying a male who attempted to rob a store clerk, said police.

Investigators said they are searching for a male accused of attempted armed robbery.

He is accused of pointing a gun at a ‘Super Dollar’ store clerk on Thursday, May 15, and demanding money.

The victim yelled for help, and the suspect left the store empty-handed, according Columbia PD.

Anyone who recognizes his clothing, mannerisms, or has information about the crime is asked to call 1-888-CRIME-SC. You could be eligible for a cash reward.
