RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland Fire Department firefighters controlled a Wednesday afternoon Whithorn Way fire, said CRFD.

When first shift crews arrived to the Whithorn Way home, firefighters found a heavy amount of fire coming from the garage area.

Crews were able to contain the fire to the garage with minimal damage to the rest of the home.

No one was injured but five people were left displaced.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, according to CRFD.
