CINCINNATI ( Cincinnati Business Courier ) - Northern Kentucky's Columbia Sussex Corp. has added a new property to its multistate portfolio with the recent acquisition of an East Coast hotel for more than $90 million.

Maryland's DiamondRock Hospitality Co. last week disclosed the sale of the Westin Washington, D.C., City Center hotel for $92 million, or roughly $225,000 a key.

The buyer is listed in deed records as CP Washington DC LLC, an affiliate of Crestview Hills-based Columbia Sussex, a privately owned hotel company. The LLC obtained a $54.9 million loan from JPMorgan Chase as part of the deal, according to public records.
