A Columbia woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison Friday for her role in the May 2024 shooting on Rice Road that left one man dead.

Quanina Lakeitha Lambert pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child in April. She will serve seven years for the assault charge and three years for endangering the welfare of a child, Boone County Prosecuting Attorney Roger Johnson said.

The defense argued for probation, but Lambert received the maximum sentence.

Lambert was seen exiting the home where the shooting took place with a firearm in her hand, according to past KOMU 8 reporting.

Trevon Ashcraft, 18, suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Lambert was one of four people charged in connection to the shooting.

Prosecutors also charged Jordan Brantley with second-degree murder, tampering with physical evidence, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. According to probable cause statements, Brantley arrived at the residence with four other people. Police said Brantley began shooting, and the victim crossed the line of fire. His next court hearing is scheduled for June 23.

Cordero Riley was also charged with felony murder, assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. A hearing has been scheduled for June 23.

Shannon Glasgow was also charged with tampering with physical evidence and hindering prosecution after he allegedly drove suspects to the scene. Glasgow entered a guilty plea to hindering the prosecution of a felony in January. As part of his sentence, Glasgow was given credit for time served, and at the time of his plea he had served 180 days in jail.
