It’s official.

The Grubbs Family of Dealerships headquartered in Grapevine is buying out most of the Foundation Automotive Group properties in Wichita Falls.

“The Grubbs Family of Dealerships, led by George Grubbs III and Wes Hays, has a long-standing reputation for excellence in the automotive industry,” spokesman Seth Levin told the Times Record News. "We operate multiple luxury and mainstream brands across Texas and Oklahoma."

Levin said Grubbs currently represents Acura, Infiniti, Nissan, Volvo and Polestar at its locations.

He said he did not know the status of any other dealerships owned by Foundation.

A media person for Foundation was not sure, either, but said she would reach out for details.

Foundation acquired its Wichita Falls dealerships from Patterson Auto Group in February 2022. The company has multiple dealerships in Canada and the U.S., including several in Texas.
