All you have to bring with you is clothes, food, dish soap, and paper towels. They’ll provide the rest.

Colorado Cabin Adventures - Grand Lake

There is inspiration in spades here, whether you’re an artist, an adventurer, a nature-phile, or anything in between. They also have access to the city of Grand Lake, allowing you to enjoy snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, climbing, golf, horseback riding, ATVing, biking, and anything else you could possibly want to do in the gorgeous Colorado Rocky Mountains.

Mount Elbert Lodge and Cabins - Twin Lakes

They’re situated right at the base of the Black Cloud Trail, which is the shortest route up Mt. Elbert. There’s other hiking available too, as well as water sports, train rides, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, fishing, hot springs, and many other activities. There are lots of lodging and cabin options here, so be sure to check out their website to figure out which one is best for you.

Rustic River Cabins - Drake

[gallery size="large" ids="5114,5115,5116"] These cabins are tucked away in the Big Thompson Canyon, just four miles east of Estes Park City Center. They’re close enough to give you access to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park, but far enough away to avoid traffic and crowds. There’s plenty of hiking, fishing, ATVing, and other activities to keep everyone entertained for the whole trip.

Pioneer Guest Cabins - Crested Butte

[gallery size="large" ids="5117,5118,5119"] The Pioneer Guest Cabins are inside the Gunnison National Forest, but they’re only 8 miles from downtown Crested Butte. They’re nestled in the forest, right at the base of Cement Mountain. Skiing and snowboarding are available on world-class Mount Crested Butte, and snowshoes are available to rent onsite. You won’t be bored at these cabins, and you definitely won’t miss the WiFi or TV (but both are available in the customer office).

The Cabins at Country Road - Evergreen

If tranquility is what you’re after, you really won’t find a better option than these cabins. Walk along the creek and look for some local wildlife, enjoy the hot tub, or head into Evergreen for some old-school Colorado charm.
