Kitty Jacob Astor IV is living the 'suite' life at the St. Regis Aspen Resort. Kitty, contrary to some confusion, is a male Bernese Mountain Dog. His name is an homage to the hotel's founder, John Jacob Astor IV. Back in 1909, John had quite a sense of humor and chose to name his dog Kitty.
Kitty's job description includes welcoming hotel guests, playing with kids, and romping around snowy hills. He's also quite the Instagram influencer, having already amassed a following of over 20,000 people, and at just seven months old, no less.

If you want the best of both worlds, you can bring your dog to the St. Regis for a one-time fee of $25 and an additional daily fee of $25.
