PASCO, Wash. – A 40-year-old College Place man was airlifted to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland for injuries suffered in a crash on US Highway 12, east of Pasco.

The victim was one of five people in a car that left the roadway and rolled, said the Washington State Patrol (WSP) in a press release.

Three passengers were not injured. The 17-year-old driver was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

The extent of injuries to the man airlifted to Kadlec is unknown.

WSP cited improper lane usage as the cause of the crash.

All occupants were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, WSP said.

The vehicle was totaled and towed away.
