It's that time of year again! DCF Guns in Castle Rock recently announced the schedule for their annual liberty fest: a summertime celebration of life, liberty, and all things awesome. Known for their offbeat radio ads, destination shooting range, and $120,000 Benelli Magnifico shotgun, DCF Guns' Liberty Fest is a uniquely Castle Rock tradition.
This event will be held on Saturday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at DCF Guns. Guests can swing by at any time during the day to enjoy a whole arsenal of exciting events, which includes food, games, and plenty of prizes! If you've never been before, there's no better way to kick off the summer in style!

The first event of the day—DCF Guns' signature car show—will begin when the event does at 10 a.m. Expect to see some seriously cool vintage cars, along with a whole lineup of custom vehicles courtesy of Bighorn Automotive! Afterward, you can look forward to a follow-up bike show that begins at 2 p.m.!
If you're bringing kids (or you're secretly a kid at heart), Liberty Fest will also feature a bounce house that will be up all day long!
In addition to all of the awesome Castle Rock restaurants and bars within walking distance of DCF Guns' location, Liberty Fest is hosting two food trucks: Passport Burger and Slim Chickens. If you're looking for unique twists on classic burger ingredients, then Passport burger has you covered. In addition to American staples, they feature tons of creative ingredient combinations, such as a Liberty BBQ Burger that comes with beef, smoked port, sweet cabbage slaw, and KC BBQ sauce! Meanwhile, Slim Chickens features chicken done right. Guests can also expect food trucks and live music from the nearby 105 West Brewery, meaning that you can get several different meals throughout the day without having to try the same thing twice! Thankfully, calories don't count on weekends, so there's nothing stopping you from digging into an order of their maple syrup-smothered chicken and waffles!
Now that we've gotten good food, good entertainment, and good company out of the way, there's one major player in DCF's celebration of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness: music. Starting at 3 p.m., guests can look forward to seeing Sara P and the Dirty Logger, a creatively named band of Colorado natives that covers everything from country to rap. From 6 p.m., Scarecrow Revival will be taking the stage, bringing their unique blend of acoustic Colorado folk music to the show!
