The Denver Nuggets jerseys are sleek! The team recently unveiled two new jerseys for the 2017-2018 season, and they actually look pretty good.

It's about time the Nuggets get rid of those baby blue jerseys and replace them with a fresh, sleeker look that's more sophisticated for an NBA team. The announcement was made via a public event held at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, August 8, and comes as the team celebrates its golden anniversary. Gary Harris and Darrell Arthur were on-site to model the Nuggets jerseys -- Arthur in the white "Association" and Harris in the navy "Icon Edition." In the video below, you can watch as Harris and Arthur see the new jerseys for the first time. https://twitter.com/nuggets/status/895424726301949952
These two jerseys are the first of four to be revealed, with the final two to be unveiled some time after the start of the season. The team, while they've been quiet on the details, have said that the other jerseys are labeled as "Statement" and "City" editions. https://twitter.com/nuggets/status/895062593865342976 https://twitter.com/nuggets/status/895063115041079296 Each team in the NBA will be getting new jerseys this season, courtesy of Nike as the company takes over as the league's official uniform/apparel provider. Earlier this year, the NBA's contract with Adidas ended after 11 years, and the switch to Nike was made for an eight-year deal. According to Nike, the new jerseys are much lighter and are made from 100 percent recycled fabric. Apparently, they're supposed to wick sweat 30 percent faster than the previous jerseys. The new jerseys will be available for fans to purchase starting on September 29. Just to give you a bit of a comparison, here are the team's previous jerseys. So, I think it's about time the team updates as we shuffle into the Nikola Jokic era, now with the navy jerseys. I should probably update my Nuggets apparel too ... What do you think of the new Nuggets jerseys? Are you a fan? Or do you prefer the baby blue jerseys from before? Let us know in the comments below, and we can get the conversation started.
