LAKE NONA, Fla. – Dive teams on Thursday continue to search a Lake Nona lake in connection to a possible drowning.

The search, which began Wednesday afternoon, is taking place in the lake behind the Cortland Nona apartments off Narcoossee Road near State Road 417.

Orlando police have not released any details about the search but according to police radio traffic, witnesses reported seeing a teenager jump into the lake and disappear, prompting the search.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office dive team was also searching the lake, and video from the scene shows police tape behind the apartment clubhouse, with Orlando police cruisers nearby.
