The National Cannabis Festival is in its third year at RFK, and this year's concert lineup includes legendary hip-hop group Cypress Hill!

FIRST of all, Your Highness, did you know that 4/20 falls on a FRIDAY this year? It's Friday, you ain't got a job, and you ain't got $hit to do except go to the National Cannabis Festival the day AFTER 4/20! On April 21, RFK Stadium Festival Grounds hosts the third annual National Cannabis Festival, a music, art, and advocacy festival celebrating the legalization of cannabis in Washington, D.C.

Festival History (or Should We Say HIGHstory?)

In early 2015, just after Initiative 71 was passed, a group of cannabis policy advocates, business leaders, and enthusiasts banded together to host the National Cannabis Festival. The idea was an event recognizing the spirit of the cannabis movement and all the nonprofit groups that worked to influence state and federal legislators. In 2016, 5,000 people from 30 states and Washington, D.C., attended the festival. In 2017, more than 7,000 attendees participated. WEED like to know how many will show up this year, but only time will tell!

How Do You Get into This JOINT?

You can buy General Admission tickets for $42. Tickets will be available on the day of the festival for $50 while supplies last. The festival is open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. on April 21, 2018, at RFK Stadium. The stadium is located at 2400 East Capitol Street SE. What CANNA You Expect?

[caption id="attachment_8173" align="aligncenter" width="1500"] Courtesy, nationalcannabisfestival.com[/caption] The 2018 National Cannabis Festival music lineup includes hip-hop royalty Cypress Hill and reggae artists See-I of Thievery Corporation alongside local D.C. legends Backyard Band, hot up-and-coming artist Beau Young Prince, DJ Ayes Cold, and local favorites Oh He Dead, Names, and Marlee. The concert is hosted by D.C.-favorites Samy K. and Reesa Renee.

The Exhibitor Fair will feature demos, swag, grower’s gear, art, fashion, wellness products, and more from over 60 participating exhibitors.
